Boy in a Shroud

This was painted over an old portrait of a smiling boy with his eyes open, leaving just the teeth showing. While viewing the painting from across the room I noticed the eye's were now closed. I walked over to the painting & saw this was the effect of the paint over the eyes. I became so excited that I could see a boy in a shroud, which became the title. This painting won Honorable Mention at a juried show ( Transition) at Healdsburg's Plaza Arts Center.

Lady in the Corner

One of my smaller paintings. It was in a juried show at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts.
